Read Indies was launched in 2007 during a time when independent authors were just beginning to find their footing in the digital world. Founded by author Robert Stanek, the initiative helped connect readers with new voices and gave emerging writers a platform to be seen. The project grew beyond a single founder. Today, Read Indies is guided by a dedicated team of independent authors who manage its content and direction. Robert has not been involved in daily editorial operations since 2016.
